    Hello,

I am currently a user of ATI 10.0 Home, which works fine on a Dell Latitude 131L, but I would like to use Universal Restore so I downloaded the 9.1 Workstation trial.

While 10.0 Home accesses the laptop disk with no problem , 9.1 Workstation finds no disk drives (error E000101F4).

    TI 10.0 Home version 10.0.4940
TI 9.1 Workstation Trial version 9.0.3567

Can anyone from Acronis say if/when hardware support from 10.0 Home will be ported into 9.1 Workstation?

    Thanks,
    Richard.

BTW, this is when using the standard bootable rescue CD created from within TI.

I need to use 'Full' mode to backup/restore from an external USB hard disk.

    Richard.

    Hello rpscott,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Remote Workstation Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Could you please download the latest trial version of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation (build 3887) from our web site? After that create a new Bootable CD using the latest version and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, please try booting with "acpi=off noapic" parameter as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If this does not help, create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post. Please use Bootable CD created with the latest trial version of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation to create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt).

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

Please also be aware that the trial version of Acronis Universal Restore is not available on Acronis web site. In order to obtain the trial version of Acronis Universal Restore please contact Acronis Support Team. Explain your wish to obtain the free trial version of Acronis Universal Restore and provide your personal information (full name; phone number along with the area code; company name, if any) along with the link to this thread. We'll provide you with the free trial version of Acronis Universal Restore as soon as possible.

    Thank you.
