AST WinSwap

    While using Acronis PartitionExpert Personal 2003 you can change the partition type in 18h AST WinSwap, what kind of partition type is this?
    Can it be used as virtual memory partition for Win2K Pro SP4 or is NTFS better? Thnx!

    Hello Lajos,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

    Please note that the option you refer to is only system label of file system. Changing this label will not change the partition type. Actually this option is very rarely needed and we recommend that you use conventional file systems such as NTFS or FAT32.
