Ask about Software....

    Hi,

    I don't know if this forum is to make the correct ask, but like to know if one

    Virus, Malaware, Trojan or Worm, would injure or damage one Hard Drive ...

    I installed one Disc that one friend..." FRIEND "... gave me and I could not
    install the program, after this my HDD is down...Only. click, click....I could not
    format, not safe mode, anything...is Down...

    "Click, click..." is not good.

    How old is the HDD? What kind of program did you install? What OS were you running?

    The Machine is one Laptop IBM T30 and think that have three years old, is Win XP and the Program is at manufacturing Program and Process but tried modified many register, received alert of: Giant Spyware, RegRun, Process Guard too....and after allowed the machine was Freeze, turn off and never like start again...
