    So when the onboard computer crashes, so does the car? :eek:

    I am still a long way from trusting self driving cars, but i makes me wonder what will happen to other industries if/when they are able to successfully roll them out. Will we need traffic police when there are only self driving cars? Ideally they should eliminate accidents. And speeding. Insurance? How can you be liable if the car was driving itself? I'm sure the insurance industry will find a way. They'll probably pass laws that say the car manufacturer isn't liable either... :rolleyes:
