    Wow, you would have thought after all the fallout that ransomwares in particular have caused the past couple of years that a more intensive security program might have been set in place to prevent it. Windows computers and servers seem more hard targeted than ever.

    Not surprising. If full restores aren't tested you don't have any backups When I did all the private testing for Storagecraft they had corporate testers who would test backups, but I was the only one testing restores. The corporate guys won't do it.
