Are there any known issues with large hardware RAID5s?

I have a 1.5TB RAID5 on a 3ware card. I am thinking of buying DiskDirector to try to resize it into a few smaller partitions. Has anybody had any similar experience? I am concerned for several reasons:
    - Paragon partition manager con't work on my disk.
    - PartitionMagic won't work, although that may be a deliberate limitation in the sorfware (not working on large partitions).
    - I have had issues with TrueImage not working on my laptop.
    - DiskDirector (demo) thinks that my drive has a negative number of physical sectors, and a few other odd things.

I'd like to hear from some people before I take the plunge. I have backed up everyything that I really cannot lose, but there is a lot of other data on this disk too.

    Thanks,
    don

    Hello Don,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

All Acronis software support partitions not larger than 2Tb. Acronis Disk Director should work properly on your configuration. Also please note that the maximum size of the hard drive as a whole is 2Tb as well due to to the MBR structure.

    Thank you.
