    Heyho,

is there any firewall out there (preferable for arch linux) that also alerts when an app makes a request so that I can allow/deny/remember as rule?

    Thanks !

Probably not on Arch, at least not in their repos. Remember that Arch is for advanced users, so most of them won't even think about compiling such program, specially since this kind of Firewall would only be a necessity on a very specific kind of WebServer.

If the user knows what he/she is doing then such Firewall isn't necessary.

And still it would make setting up rules way easier.

True, but you might have only two choices: Either find one that is already done; or create your own :D

And I might go for the second option since there doesn't seem to be anything available :/

Which doesn't make much of a sense :) Unless it's REALLY easy to create such Firewall. If it is, than I'm willing to help you. I'm not a programmer, but I know a thing or two about Linux firewalls.
