I received an update from 6.7.129.1 to 6.7.129.2 - based on the numbering it must be a minor update. No update to the changelog so far.
Good old Appguard, I used v.4 for a couple of years, would still be using it if it was cheaper. Pretty much the best bullet proof protection going.
I have version 4.3.14.5 of Appguard on an old Windows 7 PC. How do I allow an Antimalware software to update the software version with Appguard set at "Protected"? Periodically my Malwarebytes Antimalware (Lifetime) wants to update and the update fails. I have to download the MBAM offline installer, turn off Appguard and manually install. How do I change the Appguard Settings to allow periodic MBAM software updates? Also ESET no longer allows updates for Windows 7 so I plan to switch to AVIRA. How do I add AVIRA to Appguard to allow periodic AVIRA software updates while Appguard is set at "Protected"? Thanks in Advance.
You can add your security apps as power applications. Here is a link to lots of info about version 4: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/appguard-4-x-32-64-bit-releases.355206/

Does anyone know if the latest version of AppGuard (version 6.7.129.2) is still incompatible with the latest version of Shadow Defender? Last time I checked it causes Windows 10 x64 to go into an endless loop or something like that. If that's still the case then does anyone know a work around like some exception within AppGuard that can be made?
Ok, Thanks! I may have to find a replacement for Shadow Defender since I don't believe there are any good options to replace AppGuard outside of the Enterprise software world. I may try contacting AppGuard also to see what they say.
