AOMEI Backupper & AOMEI Partition Assistant

This happens in my computer.
#1 contains the booting files. Required.
#3 contains the OS files. Required.

If I do a restore to a blank SSD and don't restore #2 (the MSR), Windows starts to load for a few seconds and terminates in a BSOD.

If I do a restore to a blank SSD and don't restore #4 (the RE), Windows loads into the OS. Everything looks OK but there is no Recovery Environment.

If you don't experience a drive failure, say a corrupted app, it's OK to just restore #3 (the OS partition). No problem.

I always backup and restore all 4 partitions. Without exception. The frequency of creating backups is a personal choice.

thanks @anon, updated without any problems.

 

The update worked fine for me too. But to my mind the new user interface is no progress. The old one looked much nicer and was at least as intuitive as the new one (even more intuitive I would say).

But o.k., these are details. The program works flawlessly, it is easy to use and I like it.
