If I am not forgetting, I think windows 7 allow you to install without the serial key as a trial for one month. Does windows 8 offer such a thing as well?

    Thanks

I installed Windows 8 Pro, used a key provided by Microsoft(here), clicked on "Activate" and it activated for 180 days.

    Didn't like it though.

Is it exactly same as Windows 8 public release. I tried it before and did not get any driver for my integrated intel graphics but now when I run windows 8 update adviser, it does not report any such issues.

It's the RTM version. The Consumer Preview has different hashes.

Thank. Was thinking to grab a win 8 CD and see if it allows for a trial install.
