is it any good?worth switching to it ?
Don't know anything about it, other than it has a pretty good reputation in the Linux community.
It also appears that Vexira is targeted toware the educational market, as well.
No. Vexira is the German AntiVirPE under a different brand. For Home Users AntiVirPE is free available on the internet. AntiVir is a rather 'poor product': no heuristics, no unpacking engine. As AntiVir has not many times participated independ reviews the rare available tests (e.g. from av-test.org) show rather limited capabilities on detecting complex malware (eg polymorphic viruses). Also each time you update the software you have to completely reinstall the whole program.
Agree with Wizard, it is pretty poor, I dont know what your thinking of switching from but there are better free alternatives.
Yeah, but Vexira isn't even free...!!!
It did good at C/NET.. (MUAHHH. HA HA!)
Well if C/Net marked it up then it must be good, as we all know their reviews are top notch
