Anyone ever have any crazy issues with Avast and Vista?

    I have posted this problem on their forum but no replies yet. On my Vista Home Premium SP1 laptop, browser sessions take minutes to start and then MSN and Yahoo render crazy. Mostly just text! I disabled the Web Shield and they rendered normally. I installed Avast last week (I only use this pc when I travel, boot it about once a week to update things) and it seemed to work fine. Windows Defender updated today when I booted, other than that every thing is the same as last week. Any suggestions or theories? Thank You!

    No replies probably means no-one else has the same phenomenon.
    I have avast! 4.8 on a laptop with Vista HB. no other 3rd party security, Firefox 3.0, no issues.

    Have you try to disabled Windows Defender?

    Ever thought it might be related to Mamuto and Online Armor?
