    Hi

Got this prog from the disk on the latest Windows XP mag in the UK. This is a screenshot after the Autotune. Looks a bit unbelievable to me

Anyone using this or have any thoughts ?

IMO, some of these types of programs are legit. But really all they do for the most part is perform some registry tweaks that you can do yourself. They may also check your startup folder and other locations in your registry for auto-runs. Also may do some reg. tweaks for your Internet connection as well. Again all of these can be done manually, my preferred method.
Concerning this particular program, for some reason a RED flashing light go`s off in the back of my mind. Just not sure why.

That's the very same ThunderZ. (Mods - may as well leave open now :D )

Tried it ThunderZ ? My Auto Tune results

    Hard Disk Benchmark - Before 752 kb/s After 4893 - Up 550%

    Menu Speedmark - Before 1 After 5 - Up 400 %

    Boot Up Speed Benchmark -Before 72 After 84 - Up 16 %

Curiously, my start up progs DO seem to load faster.

It is a full d/load on the official XP mag ( yes, I know, I know lol )

Plese recall the RED flash ThunderZ !!!

Will do some digging now for the cause of the red flash.
My question to you is, dose your PC seem\feel faster as judged by the old "seat of the pants" benchmark. That has always been my favorite barometer when it comes to any performance increases. Either on my PC or Harley. ;)

Glad to have helped. Since it was free nothing is really lost in the trying. Just so many of these type of apps. are pure snake oil. I have always enjoyed getting a little grease, road grime and 60 weight oil as well, :D under my fingernails, so I go the manual tweak route.
