    Hi.
For some time I'm using Eset Nod32 Antivirus 5.0.95.0 English on Windows XP SP3.
Lately I noticed something strange: sometimes my internet browsers crash when I'm downloading files. I choose the path to save, click on OK/Save button and Mozilla or Opera crashes. It seems that it does that randomly, I couldn't find a "pattern".
I reinstalled my OS but no change...
Is it possible that Eset Nod32 Antivirus could cause this..? And how can I be sure if it does or not without uninstalling it and/or using the computer with no protection?
    Thank you for your help.

Later edit: forgot to say that I checked the partition where the files are saved and is ok.

    No reply...
Well, I've solved the mistery. Until now I just deactivated the protection and tested (and there was no difference), now I've uninstalled it completely with restart.
    And the problems are gone...

What protection did you have to disable in order for the issue to stop occurring ?

I don't know where is the problem in Eset Nod32 but it was solved only by uninstalling it completely.
If you want I will install it again (now I'm without any antivirus  ) and I will deactivate what you want me to test.

Well, after reading some topics here, I downloaded version 4 and installed. It seems that it doesn't have this problem.
So, problem is solved by a "downgrade"
    Thanks for you "help"...
