I am not a programmer, but I am a firm believer in open source.
I can afford to pay for my necessary security programs, but there are many that cannot. They need good options and choices too.

What are you trying to do exactly?

IM not sure what your motives are.

Are you basically saying your tired of the ants project and want to make it open source so your dream doesn't die.

Or are you hoping to find newcomers interested in continuing the project so you don't have to do as much work we all know how hard it must be to Carry a project almost by yourself is this a way to enlist new fresh blood.

I firmly believe in Open Source my name says it all.

Just curious where your motives lay.

After what I saw happened to MP-3.

At the moment ANTS is a mix of win32 asm and OOP (also known as delphi/kylix).

Providing a free, non comercial anti trojan system?

Nope. Ok, some know i am "quite ill". In fact i have cancer. I doesn't know how many time i have to continue developing ANTS and at the moment there is nobody that can continue the development. So i think about ANTS becoming open source.

Im very sad to hear that i love you semi enghlish verstion of ants.

How early are you with your illness or is it in its final stages?

I now can see why you want to make it open source.

Hey didn't you help make trojan check to?

That one you should make open source i thought it was a shame to let it go like that.

    medium stages ;o).

A little bit. Thomas (the programmer of tc 5) developes a 6.0 version at the moment.

Hello Andreas. Although we have not been personal friends, I have seen you around for what seems to be a long time. You have helped in the past and I am grateful for that.
I just want to tell you I care. There is always hope, please do not dispair.
Your work will live on after you and I sincerely hope someone picks up with your program and carries on your excellent work. If it turns into open source, still your work will live on.
    Peace.

Not much of a programmer myself, but I'm sure there are a lot of talented young (and not so young) people around that would love to finish the great job you started.

    Regards,

    Pieter
