antivirus?

    hi all i am in the mood to try a antivirus,after like a year finally i want to virus/spyware scan my machine:doubt:
    any good recomendation?i want some thing fast and efective and popular:thumb: thanks in advance

    Do you want just a scan or do you want to try a real-time antivirus?
    If just a scan, download Dr.Web's CureIt!. No install at all, just execute the downloaded file.

    BTW, I think this is not the right forum section for your question. Do a bit of reading and you'll find a lot of good suggestions.

    EDIT:
    Take a look here, I believe that a free AV is the best for your situation.

    They have 90-day trial and a lifetime license of $29.99. How fast? The name says it all. :eek:

    Twister has not been tested. The effectiveness of the protection afforded by this AV is as yet undetermined. To use it as your frontline AV is a crapshoot.

    I suggest your read several threads in this (the "Other Antivirus") topical category of Wilders, & also view some test results before making a final decision or purchase.
