    The two Unix tests are available for 02/02 and 03/02!

    For the Unix test 2002-02 we (av-test) have compared 12 programs under Suse Linux 6.3/7.3 and Red Hat Linux 7.1 using about 230 criteria.

    This includes a test of these and other issues:
    -Virus scanner and virus guard
    -Virus detection ITW and Zoo, false positives
    -Support of archive- and file formats
    -Scan of runtime-compressed files
    -Functional range of the scanner and guard
    -Update possibilities and report file

    For the Unix test 2002-03 we(av-test) have compared 4 programs under FreeBSD 4.4, 2 products under OpenBSD 3.0 and 3 scanners under Solaris 8 (Sparc) using more than 190 criteria.

    This includes a test of these and other issues:
    -On-Demand virus scanner
    -Virus detection ITW and Zoo, false positives
    -Support of archive- and file formats
    -Scan of runtime-compressed files
    -Functional range of the scanner
    -Update possibilities and report file
