    That's interesting. If I was going to purchase an AV I would probably go for Kaspersky, mainly through reputation, however, I have MSE on both my computers & I'm pretty pleased with it.

    I got a Kaspersky lifetime license, to both KAV and KIS any version including latest, but I still prefer Microsoft Security Essentials (currently using MSE v2 beta), as it's far more light on resources and still effective.

    The greatest extra feature KIS offers is a proper HIPS that helps in the good score KIS gets in the Matousec tests. But this feature doesn't work as well in 64 bit Windows 7.

    I have Outpost Security Suite on Windows, nothing on everything else.

    For several months now I have been using Shaw Secure 9.01 build 105 with F-Secure Anti-Virus 9.10 build 15261 installed and I find it very satisfactory.

    I voted for Avira. I have been using it for a while. Before that it was Norton.
