Please offer suggestions for an Antivirus/Internet Security Software for a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit PC (Intel Dual Core Atom CPU).

The PC currently has Norton Internet Security. Norton sometimes drags the PC down some.

    Targets are:

    1. Lower Rescource Usage
    2. Good Protection from Malware

    Thanks in Advance.

Hi, you can try Eset, Avast or Panda cloud :) I have not used the internet suite from these companies but the antivirus runs light. MSE is also a good option but it scores low in tests.

    I'd say WSA or Cis.

This is not A versus B. I am not asking which Antivirus is better than another Antivirus. I am asking for Options (a list) for Antivirus/Internet Security Software which has decent protection while minimizing resource usage to the point where is can run on a PC with a Dual Core Atom CPU.

It is important that the Antivirus/Internet Security does not use too much of the PC's CPU.
