    Hello,

I have removed Antivir (free version) from a rig due to constant problems with signatures updates. :doubt:

Is the paid version better in this department ?

So far it seems to be better, but I never had but just a little trouble with the free version on updates anyway.

I too had some recurring trouble with the free version updates, mostly whenever there was a large update and all the traffic taxed their free servers too much.

So far, after a week or so of using the Avira Suite there have been no problems at all with updates. Connects fine each time (every 4 hours for me) and download speed is adequate...

Try one of the trials if they are still available...

I have AntiVir Premium installed and it's running a couple of days now.

The proggie and signature update work flawlessly.
