    RE:Trend Micro AntiSpyware...correct me if I'm wrong.
    Isn't this the program that used to be called SpySubtract?
    If that's the case,it's been around for a while.

    No, they don't.

    And btw. on a reliable test I'd presume that the author downloads the latest definitions before running the test. So all products using the same engine, should use the same definitions too. ;)
