Anyone can give me some recommendations for a GOOD anti-rootkit

The only requirement needed is that it should be compatible with Windows Vista!

I'm asking this since a few days ago i fixed my friends sluggish pc (He had Panda Global Protection which was expired for like 6 months!)

I did a maintenance to his system and installed Avast! 5 and a defragmenter with a schedule.

Now he is complaining that his PC is screwed up and cannot connect to the internet? I'm fixing his PC on Thursday

He is extremely noobish about computers (I told him to uninstall Avast! 5 and to double click the defragger icon and he couldn't do it ) He kept saying i don't know, he just refused to do it :ninja:

So any recommendations for some good Anti-Rootkit compatible with Vista? :D
I felt something strange in his PC, scanned with Hitman Pro and nothing was found xD

You can download Prevx Free to see if detects any and it will show the location of them then you can try to delete them manually if that doesn't work try in safe mode and try deleting them again!

download DrWeb cure it from here http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/ and do a complete scan. I strongly advice this tool against rootkits and other malware. It is a very effective and easy. :thumb: :thumb:
