I was unable to post in this thread. I suppose since it's old.

Sorry to bring up this oldie but I'm sort of investigating this app. There seems to be absolutely no interest in it at this and at Castle cops. However I ran across this database updated today. I sure seems like a huge database of Trojans and worms. Any thoughts on this app?

Hi Lynchknot, I don't know what to think about that program. I installed it some time ago...it's not a newcomer on the market, cause I heard of it way before.

after running RegRun for two years, I can definately see some similarities but it's not that finished nor as complete.
I wouldn't install it on my own machine.

I tried it a while back, must be 2 years ago i would think. I had a clean system and it came up with a load of detection's. They all turned out to be FP's and it would only clean them if i paid for the application. I wasn't too impressed tbh. I've not been near it since. IMHO, there are plenty other well known application's out there that are more reliable.

Just my opinion. You can always try it yourself and form your own opinion.

thanks guys. Aren't they two different type of apps? Regrun being a registry monitor and Antiy a Trojans and worms monitor/scanner. I ran it and it found nothing.
