    Hi All,

    Answers.com is way cool, I used to use GuruNet, which morphed into the free answers. c o m.

    alt + click any word & you get definition or map etc. Plus much more!

    I just alt+clik on your hometown, from your last post. How about that you had the first stock exchange, way back in 1460! Wow!

    LOL. I did the same thing. This website is really amazing and a goldmine of knowledge viewed from different angles. It blew my socks off. :cool: :cool: :cool:

    Thanks for the heads-up. This is a great extension for Firefox (installed it at home and work)!

    Interesting app : Answers.com

    I just installed Answers.com. I thought I'd share this app w/ the forum since I find it very usefull.

    What it does: gives you free access to 4 million topics from over 100 dictionaries, encyclopedias and much more...

    How it works: just <Alt> click a word and a pop-up or page appears giving you info on the selected word.

    Their support is very responsive. I encountered a problem (my own fault) and received a reply w/ suggestions in 24hrs.

    There's a desktop , Firefox & IE version. I chose the desktop.
