I'm giving more and more respect to the Doctor, and its free link scanner plugin, and cureit. The Doctor, you have my love. :-*

And twister, that kicks ass too! The Doctor and twister, deserve more respect. :)

Type 'antivirus' in google, or other key terms such as 'antispyware', then once sponsored links show up on the right-hand side, click to see 'more sponsored links'. Absolute gold mine for fake products.

    It's in tucows too...

    tucows.com/preview/364199

Maybe a FP? Twister doesn't flag the installer, but from what i understand, Twister never does, targets specific files after installation. So i will go Shadow mode and install it and report back.

This one was under sponsored links, when searching for 'antispyware'.

When you got spyware, you need spywarecease! ha ha

They've put a lot of work into this site. Slick!

Those that found it: Avira, Bitdefender, F-Secure, Kaspersky, G-Data, Nod and Sunbelt identified this as a 'fraud tool'.

Those that missed: Norton, A-Sqaured, Avast, Dr.Web, Comodo, AVG, Microsoft, Ikarus.

Might have to send this to my new family, Dr.Web! ;)

Yessss!!! This time Twister caught the thing as soon as it hit the desktop! (quite unusual for Twister to flag installers).

    Go Twister, go!

Spyware cease, sent to the doctor.

Don't worry fuzzfas, this stuff is being pumped out, not daily, hourly or less. Twister is a fighter! ;)

    And gotta love shadow mode!

Doctor for the PC, butcher to the malware! :argh: :thumb:

Yes, it appears so. Quite remarkable for an AV team of 20 people only.

True, true! Money well spent! If i only didn't have to reboot each time, that would be the perfection! Cause i could switch users back to my personal admin account and all would be like before. Still, Shadow Defender never failed me to this day with all the malware i have installed on it.
