    What worries me is the
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1 entry.
I did a search for it and found several people on forums who also had that entry and they were told to delete it. But I got dsl about a month ago, and I don't recall having that entry when I had dial-up, so I think that it has something to do with my dsl service. And I don't want to delete something if I don't know what it is. Can anyone please tell me what that entry is/means?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Brando Ikari,

Could yo give me a link to a thread where the advise to fix it was given?
I never felt the need to do so and it might result in antivirus, firewalls and spamfilters not to work properly.

    Regards,

    Pieter
