Anchors and Trojans

I stored 3 shortcuts of 3 PDF-files on my desktop and it works.
If I click on an icon, the approperiate PDF-files opens and I can read it.
Of course I have a different setup and I can't similate your setup, unless I change it thoroughly and that's too much work.
But I discovered another problem with the functions : freeze and unfreeze, but that will be another post.

 

I rebooted and went to my other snap again.

This time I did see the pdf's on the desktop...shuffled completely to one side instead of piled in the middle (for tax day!

So, my post regarding loss of anchored data off the desktop is not accurate.

My apology for your lost time Erik...hope the other issue you found is resolved.

 

No apologies needed. By doing this I improved the freeze procedure of my frozen snapshot. Your problem forced me to solve my freeze problem (I wrote a post about it in a new thread), so we both helped eachother.
