thats very good for air on stock speed. thats about the best on air with Thermalright Ultra and in tests got under 30C.yes very efficient just need graphic cards to be as well. that Nehalem has a new power saving mode in which caches are stored on the chip during that time. valve radios i not that old lol Amd must be feeling it as Intel are using there memory controller design as well on new chips. i wouldnt worry about NB now as you need a new m/b soon which will have no NB lol :p .

Thats air at overclock-2400 to 3402mhz-currently 32c each core.
Would be nice not to have to worry about that hot NB.
The graphics card and NB are the killers heatwise

well thats good for oc then - some have watercooled the NB but not hardly a difference. i think an air conditioner pointed at your pc be better but shame about the cost.

    these are good NB coolers

once that Nehalem comes out all other chips should plummet in price. edit: ain't that the most obvious statement. :p

Well actually everyone went off-topic since the 2nd post!

I guess it's my fault for using the thread title. :D

I just wanted to know if the AMD TL-60 would be better than the Intel T5450 but i got my answer on yahoo answers.

The Tl-60 is suppose to be a tiny bit better but the higher ghz i suppose would sacrifice more battery than more cache would, but the TL-60 would go better with the dedicated graphic card i got.
