Alternatives to a standard Antivirus?

    Yes, I'm aware he stated going to bad websites, hence the advice of using ublock with extra filters.

    For just surfing websites, the adblocker on steroids coupled with built in phishing and malware protection of the browser itself, would be more then enough. Then again, he could always use the default browser MS Edge and adblock extension with windows defaults, considering Edge is run in app container.

    Users are the weak point here, they either tend to over complicate things or not care enough to utilize caution as well as tools already available.

    I'm currently using SpyShelter, it's good but it should have been better. I wouldn't call myself a fanboy.
