All Webpages Open in Trusted Zone

Hi!

Didn't really know where to post this but "other"
will have to do.

My brothers computer has been infected with all
sorts of spyware/trojans. I have successfully
removed them all.

But some of those nasties has apperantly hacked
IE's Zone management. Now all webpages open in
"Trusted Zone" per default. The dialog where you
specify sites for the zone is off course empty.

Note, the "Trusted Zone" "add sites" dialog is missing
the "https" checkbox i.e it's not there, suggesting
tampering?

I've searched this and other forums for a Spyware/
Trojan variant that can do something like this but
came up short.

Is there anyway to restore/repair/re-install IE6?
Or other means of fixing this? Running WinXP Pro.
