Thanks for the heads up. But I'll wait for the final release. Looks good though.

Looks like it will be good when finished. I currently use version 2. Had a problem with the Firefox optimising - It couldn't find the Firefox profile stored on D: so that bug needs to be fixed. I sent them feedback.

    Interesting.

SmartDefrag seems to be a fairly decent defragmenter, in my case for on-the-fly instant defrags which does boost up some performance gain satisfactory enough.

I'll reserve DiskTrix's UD now for special file placements and such and use SmartDefrag after long extended sessions and research that create heavy defragmentations.

    New Update: Advanced SystemCare 3 RC3 available ( October 25,2008 ).
Fixed 'license conversion' bug !..:doubt: . It is the GUI with description of 'Free'. User Account is the free version.

The GUI 3 RC2 version, dated October 10,2008, with the description 'PRO' apparently does not expire and has the BEST defrag! Only in version RC2 does the Options/Disk Defragment/Enable Smart Defragment option remain checked:-* !
Also on version RC2 only, the System Optimization option keeps your choice because remains checked.
In the PRO version 3 RC2, the 'Home' button does not work, but it is a negligible difference.
    Overview/User Account: Professional.
It is free "PRO" version !!!:argh:

You should keep the RC2 version, it is better.

    Yours PRO:thumb:
