Hi, folks: I used its pro version for a short period of time. I may still have the file somewhere. I found its spyware detection portion just so so, however its added features such as net sniffer, port scanner, BHO mgr, Shell Extension mgr and so forth are very much helpful and useful. Generally speaking, if you are looking for an average AS with loaded extra tools, it may worth your efforts, otherwise...

It was a joke, as all links to their "forum" on their website are dead.

I have to agree with Perman:
When I first found ASR Pro, I thought it was the coolest tool ever, this was during the time it was actively developed mind you. It has so many neat tools...blah blah. But the detection and its scanning features were never all that great. The program, in the way it was laid out with a whole list of stuff on the left, seemed to focus more on its tools. Sure, the tools were built great, but as a program named "Advanced Spyware Remover" you would think focus would be directed towards spyware removal. Oh well.
