    Hi,
    I found a problem
It looks like that, the advanced mode of Application Filtering just only affects ipv4.o_O

When I use IPv6,it doesn't work.( e.g. I select ports for WMP.but it can use the port that I haven't selected yet)

what should I do if I want to select ports ( or IPv6 address )for applications under IPv6? :D

    Thanks for reading

    Hi,

IPV6 address are effectively not supported when editing the connection details for an application.
However the port should be supported for IPV6.

Note that only the destination/remote port is supported (like for IPV4).
Did you try to select temporarily the !! attribute for that application, in order to check the port that is detected in the log ? (note that the alert should also indicate the IPV6 address, for the logging it is supported).

    Regards,

    Frederic

I had selected temporarily the !! attribute for that application, but the port isn't detected in the log .
the alert didn't indicate the IPV6 address.

What is your version of Windows ?
Actually IPV6 for application filtering works properly only for Vista and not for XP.
However it seems it's only a driver load order issue under XP to have IPV6 detected. Take a look to that thread:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=220550
and the first post of nuser in that thread.
