Have you noticed that Kees1958's list "EU US ads&tracking networks MV3 (third-party blocking only)" has much more rules ?
With this new version of AdGuard I reinstalled the extension + Kees1958's new list.

 

I read on Malwaretips users saying that browsing is faster/snappier with uBlock Origin compared to AdGuard. Thoughts?

 

I think it's about the desktop version of Adguard. For me the desktop version felt a bit slower but could filter even more ads (than the app).

 

just4fun, trialed current MV3 in firefox nightly. firefox threw a lot of warnings concerning domain asterix's (eg: domain.*). warnings are not important, but adguard extension button showed up after a minimal correction in manifest. heading toward 2024 there is plenty of time to complete the syntax scheme to make work easier for developers. (there exist no fixed date in 2024 when google is abandoning MV2).
in edge the default settings are working like charm.

I gave it another try ... the 8+ month old bug is still persistent. Uninstalled right away.
