I'll post here when it's ready. Btw, I see an iOS in your signature and we've just released Adguard for iOS: https://blog.adguard.com/en/ios-app/adguard-for-ios.html
Great. Now push ahead a vpn blocker for iOS that will block all browsers and apps not only limited to Safari and 64 bit systems. There are many adblockers for Safari out there but none one which would block ads in other apps. Adguard clearly keeps primacy on other platforms (win, osx, android) so let's keep it also for iOS. ;-)
I did tried one that had vpn function, it worked well blocking ads in other apps. However due to some reason I removed it. If Adguard becomes a vpn blocker, it could work well.
New beta release: 6.0.83.477 Beta https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/releases/tag/6.0.83.477
Just updated from v5 to current v6 beta, all went smoothly... some nice new features in v6 that I didn't expect to see. Congrats!
@Tyrizian we've released a new version, but the Win8+ WFP driver was not updated by mistake so it's too early to try it. We'll push one more update today or tomorrow.
@Tyrizian new beta is out: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/releases/tag/6.0.84.487 Now with new WFP driver. Could you please try it?
So far, HD Video loading (1080p, 720p) seems to be somewhat improved. As for YouTube in Chrome only, it still partially loads some of the homepage video thumbnails (Bottom of page), plus the loading wheel on the YouTube tab still has a continuous loading circle. As mentioned before, this behavior stops when Adguard is disabled. As for everything else, I just want to say thank you for providing a top notch product and listening to the Adguard community, I really do like that about your company... keep up the great work!
I meant an adblocker that uses VPN to block ads on my iphone apps. It seems a lot of the adblockers on the appstore work only on Safari and do not block ads anywhere else. I found one that worked with vpn to block ad videos on music application I listened. I didn't mind the ads, but on a few occasions it gave 2 ad videos consecutively. It got a little annoying and I decided to use the adblocker a few moments when using that music application. I don't have it anymore. And strangely it appears to have been removed from the appstore since I can't find it anymore.
It seems that the problem was not in the driver, but in filters (but not for everybody). Try adding this rule to user filter temporary: Code: @@||2mdn.net^$domain=youtube.com Does it help?
Oh we were working on such solution, but we've changed our plans due to this new ios 9 content blocker feature.
Opera on my system has just updated to v 33.0 and this appears to be preventing Adguard from filtering ads. It works OK on Firefox and IE11.
