Does anyone use AdGuard's parental control? How reliable is it in blocking adult content? And what categories does it block?
I could not install AdGuard on Windows 11. The commands chkdsk /f and sfc /scannow found no errors. I tried the AdGuard uninstall utility (Standard and Advanced) and reinstalled AdGuard, but it did not help. AdGuard installation did not work on another Windows account either. The AdGuard installation process runs well. The AdGuard GUI does not appear after clicking "Finish" on the installation wizard. I checked Task Manager; the AdGuard entry was present under Startup, but the AdGuard processes were not there under Processes. I tried to start AdGuard manually, but the AdGuard logo appears for a few seconds (no GUI), and the AdGuard tray icon shows up in the orange color. The AdGuard tray icon options were greyed out; open, support, about, and exit were available, but open and about did not work. Restarting the system did not help. Any solution?

Currently, you need to click on the AdGuard extension to check the website certificate details, original or AdGuard. It would be good to have the AdGuard taskbar icon and extension icon color change or some sign if the original (or AdGuard) certificate is used.

Anyone care to explain the difference between AdGuard Assistant and AdGuard Browser extension? I currently run AdGuard for Windows 7.8 and have the AdGuard AdBlocker 3.6.17 Chrome extension installed. I can't understand where AdGuard Assistant fits in. I'm thinking that AdGuard Assistant must be for users who do not have the Chrome extension installed?

I have experienced a definite slowdown in filter updating in AdGuard for Windows. Very understandable, of course.
