I use AdGuard Desktop, but I haven't installed its extension. I can disable the "Extensions" module in AdGuard Desktop, right?

I checked the knowledge base before requesting info here. It's not clear if AdGuard Extra and Popup Blocker functioning depends on the browser extension. Guess, depends on the browser extension?

The fact that it blocks all ADs and thus breaks all webpages is it's biggest downsize. If they are planning customized profiles like in NextDNS, they won, but I imagine they will be for paid customers only, like OpenDNS?

You have to check the extension to know the certificate (original or adguard) for HTTPS websites. It would be good to show some indication over the extension or extension's color change for the displayed HTTPS website using the AdGuard certificate. Same for the AdGuard Desktop tray icon for users who don't use the extension.
im using adguard dns on android (one day i will unlock it and put lineage os with Ad away, but until I manage to transfer my thousands of tabs including tab groups which I don't wanna lose to my pc, i will keep using adguard dns) and i never had sites breaking due to it, do u got examples?
I use the DNS. You have to use it on Apple iPads/iPhones because ad blocking software there only works on Safari.

AdGuard 7.7 update failed on my Win 10 with the message Contact the Support on the GUI. Enabling the protection or reupdating the program didn't work. I reverted the system to the state before AdGuard installation.
I know that when updating to 7.7, HitmanPro & HMP.A are blocking both Adguard.exe and AdguardSVC.exe as malicious... Description: CXmail/MalPE-DQ. None of the 66 vendors on VirusTotal have flagged this file as malicious. For now I supressed the alerts and also reported to HMP.A.
I have Comodo Firewall only on the system. I uninstalled Comodo and tried updating AdGuard to check if Comodo was blocking the update installation. AdGuard update failed. Update A fresh install of AdGuard worked.
