    Hi,

I have a strange issue (maybe my fault) with trying to get DDS to see a 2nd OS (for dual boot).

Basically I had XP installed on a small SFF PC and decided to convert it into a media center pc. Not wanting to lose all my data I surmised that buying a new HDD and installing the MCE OS on that would be fine - I could then dual boot.

Now this is the part where I think I messed up :)

Because the system was a SFF (like a Shuttle) I couldn't fit two drives in without 3.5>5.25 brackets (I had none) so I decided to simply take out the existing drive and start fresh with a new one - the new OS installed fine. Eventually I got the bracket and thought I could simply re-add the original drive as master and use DDS' OS selector to create a dual boot option - however the OS selector boots the master (original drive) fine but doesn't see the 2nd OS installed on the 2nd drive.

Having no idea on what I need to do with boot.ini (or similar) the only way I can boot the new OS is to disconnect the master drive and reboot machine.

Any suggestion on how I can get DDS to add the second OS?

    Thx
    Yozzer
