    Dear All,
Anyone know how to get rid of a programme in Add/Remove that won't die?
It's called "CIF USB Camera (2110)" I click remove - message says "Successfully uninstalled" but it's still there? It's nowhere else in my Pute not even in the Registry.
Trouble is, I'm trying to load my Trust 120 Spacecam, everything loads OK but when I go into Photimpression this CIF Doodads there and nothing recognises it (No Driver I assume).
I don't even know were the damn thing came from, it kinda just appeared.
    All ideas kindly received.
    TiA Cochise.

    hi cochise..

I am a little unsure "where" the program remains.. I am presuming in the Add/Remove entries listing, even though it's uninstalled the 'entry' is still in the add/remove..?

OK... you can use couple different programs to just remove the unwanted program .

However, X-TEQ is probably the best of all....
You can fine tune your system to however you like.... It reveals ALL hidden aspects of your system..

Swatted the little swine, THANKS Tassie, didn't think I would ever kill it, but we did, THANKS again.

BTW that X-TEQ is a helluva piece of kit eh? It's just interesting to scroll thro' everything in it, it doesn't miss much does it?

    Very Best Regards, Cochise

    Hi Cochise

No Problems mate. Glad it got sorted. :D

    Cheers, TAS

PS: Just be careful as to "what" you play with in XTEQ. Even though it has many options, etc. it does give some warning on some that unless you really 'know' what you are doing, then DON'T apply them.
