    I agree with Dollefie.

They both have their specialties and don't interfere with each other, so why choose, when you can have both.

I agree with them, I've used both and have found no problems with them. Besides, both are free and fairly easy to use and keep updated.

I like Spybot.I've used it for a while now.
Ad-Aware seems to be a better product than it used to be and works better than ever! Ad-Aware seems to pick up a few more entries than SBSD and also has more frequent updates.
I just recently installed Ad-Adaware again. I run both now. They both are great programs. "Must Have" in my opinion!!

    regards,
    bill :)

;) I agree with all of the above!

Both are excellent and each has features which complement the other. Add SpywareBlaster and HijackThis to the repertoire and you will be well on your way to better security!

same here, I use Spybot S&D a few times a week ,sometimes I run Ad-aware after but all it finds more are some cookies, no real spyware.
must say I also use SpywareBlaster, Hijackthis, Startupmonitor and MRU-Blaster.
I try all free software but these are my favs, greetings, ;)

Yes, eventually when you reach such state, you should sit back and take stock, consider losing a few software to lighten the load on your computer :)

You will be amazed, how you can surivive without constant antivirus monitoring, dozen of spyware/adware immunity, monitor etc...
