Activate the toolbar and paste those stats guys.

we added cookies and trackers to that one.

    715,511 items blocked -
    21 GB saved -
    2.4 days saved -
    329,135 trackers blocked -
    1,652,830 cookies blocked

My desktop monitor went out so I'm on my laptop, desktop stats are much higher and go back to 2001.

I've never lost my stats on my desktop since I backup my config.dat file which is where your stats are stored.

I cheated, but without the thing running I still had close to 55,000 ads 'legit' in the same period. But yes, I do a lot of browsing. So at that rate I would still surpass you in a few weeks regardless.

Note; if I use rollbackrx to drop back to a different snapshot, the stats are reset. So mine are now reset.. Wonder why that would happen? Not that I care much about stats, I still like to take a look once in awhile.

My computer runs 24/7...but I am not always active. Even so, I must not browse a lot of sites where there are ads. ;)

The one added to v4.93 that replaced the previous browser specific integration.

CTRL + right click on any page filtered by Ad Muncher.

You can see your stats, disable filtering and report missed ads or broken pages directly to me.

Sounds like it's restoring an older version of config.dat

Can you exclude specific directories from being restored?

if so exclude the folder where it's stored.

On my computer it's this one:
    C:\Users\Jeff\AppData\Roaming\Ad Muncher

Indeed, I can also 'pull back' any file after restoration. RollbackRX is extremely powerful. So in the future I will pull that file out of the rollback. I could do it now, but then it would impact what has already been recorded so I won't bother. I am cheating anyway, I will probably reset it and stop cheating, but I have a good handle on what it would do for me - close to 50-60K things filtered a week - or close.. Pretty nice.

Go to the Interface tab and make sure the very first option is disabled.

    Just checked...it was unticked.

Should I now close and restart the browser, and/or Ad Muncher?

I've just tried the free trial and I'm really impressed. I used it on a browser with no extensions and I didn't get any adverts trying a whole host of different sites. Have I missed the 50% off? It's be a shame if I have. Still a great product.

You want it to remain unticked.

    Check this page:
    http://www.popuptest.com/popuptest12.html

the toolbar should slide down alerting you to the blocked popups.

    uncheck the very first option.

as you can see it says "disable toolbar"

so to enable the toolbar, you want to uncheck that option and then click apply.

Sorry, but we just cross posted...it was originally unticked. So, something is not quite right with my browser?

Still nothing... I think it is the way Opera browser works, with the javascript settings. I have javascript turned off by default, and then I can turn it on for individual/trusted websites.
