I had this thought pop into my mind today so I wanted to get a experts thought on this.

Ad-Aware only blocks malware processes from launching, it does not automatically quarantine them. So if I were to run Ad-Aware next to a AV that automatically cleans malware would they work without conflict in real time? Because I was thinking Panda Cloud detects file's on access so if it wiped it on on access before the malware got a chance to execute would that mean they would work fine with each other?

    I tested the Free Version.
It took for AGES to Update (I am on ADSL+ 24 Mbps).
    It's a pity!:doubt:
This used to be a Great program back in the early 2000's...:'(

They changed the GUI every year but the engine is still bloatware - the update is slow too :(

    I can't recommend it these days ...

I must say I agree with a majority of this. Clean-Up from Ad-Aware and detection should be very good. It uses the Sunbelt Boot Scan and detection which really helps it. It's not showing Ad-Aware in first every time and I would really lower the truth if Ad-Aware won every area.

Not that I am saying Ad-Aware is the best, I am still rather sad they do not offer a av-less version so I have no way to use it with my AV of choice.

Yeah they also need to make it a little simpler, most of the trusted download sites only have the latest edition.

Ha I am the last Fanboy and I can not even find a old version download link. Only reason I planned on downloading it was for something to do this weekend :p
