Here in The Netherlands we all just used Hitman Pro (versions 1 and 2).
It just ran all the scanners: Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE, PC Tools Spyware Doctor, Webroot Spy Sweeper, Spyware Blaster, CWShredder and ewido micro-scanner.
And on the anti-virus side: McAfee VirusScan, ESET NOD32, Trend Micro Sysclean.

Of course you didn't have to run all of it, and those were not all included at the same time I think. Not sure anymore, but good old times....

It took quite some time yes :D. Compare that to Hitman Pro 3, a difference like day and night.

But I have to say, that if there is one of the oldies I really miss of all those programs, it has to be ewido, that was such a cool program.

I understand your feelings towards the oldies. However the current solutions are generally lighter, faster, more stable and more efficient in terms of detection then the products in the 2000-2005 era for example.
Shred it in this light and I don't miss the oldies anymore ;)

This is more or less how the story goes for most of the Wilders members...

I don't trust reviews from website anymore, not after F-Secure "best AV of 2010" from AV-Comparatives.

You are a very funny guy I have to say:D

And if you didn't know already!, AV-Comparatives has NO connection to PCMag and their testing!!!

    I tried it once again:

Updates slow, program startup slow and finally an update error! It's faulty bloatware :'(
