I downloaded it a few days ago. Still no support for an x64 based restore disc that supports Secure Boot/UEFI computers. Only 32 bit. Severe disappointment!! :(

It still does not support cold backup/restore of Win8.1. Will cause BCD store error that renders your computer unbootable.

Strange. Even 14 year old Ghost 2003 can do that with Win8.1. (successful cold backup/restore of Win8.1)

I can confirm that Active@ Disk Image does work from a UFD created in a Win8.1 64-bit OS. I used the free Active@ Disk Image version.

By "does work" I mean that the program loads and does backups. I didn't try a restore.

    Dear Brian,

Thanks for your help. Yes I used a Win8pe live cd to run ADI as a portable app. It does backup OK but will cause some error after restore. I guess it should be fine if you only restore to C: partition and leave the other GPT partitions untouched.

I just wish LSoft would end the issue by flat out supporting cold boot restores for systems with x64 UEFI/Secure Boot. Who is left besides them that don't??
