Acronis True Image Files CORRUPTED

i make the acronis backup file of my C:\ drive on to itself because it is faster then saving it to a pc on the lan that i have dedicated for storing images.

once the file is complete on my C:\ drive i check the image and it is ok.

i then move it to the mapped drive of the backup pc for storing images via windows explorer...

i then go to the backup pc, and launch acronis, and check the image and POOF, it's corrupted....

i've had the same problem for 3 pc's now.

What gives?
