Acronis TI 9.2337...disappointing results

    I was a longtime user of Ghost but finally get fed up with it and changed to Acronis TI 9.0. Well, I finally needed it and here's what happened:

    Full image of my HD (probably not build 9337 since it was created a few months ago)---multiple incremental back-ups. My main 120GB drive failed this problem since I planned for such a disaster. I decided to buy a new 160 GB drive. I used a boot disk (created with the latest build) to restore and resize the image to my larger luck as the "image is corrupted":blink: I ran the boot disk and checked the problems detected. I then had another 120GB drive and restored (without resizing) to that drive...success. I then cloned that drive to my larger 160 GB drive...success. What the heck? The program must have a bug in it when using that feature (restoring an image to a larger partition). I found this to be quite disturbing since the only time that the program is used is when it has "hit the fan". Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

    - When exactly have you received "the image is corrupted" error message?

    - Have you selected the "Check backup before restoration" option?

    - Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.
