Acronis TI 2009 Hangs also

    Hi, i tried the beta version of V2009, it hangs on 7% of backup

    What kind of help do you expect regarding on your 'one-sentence-thread'?

    Do you want to know WHY it hangs?
    How we can figure out that? We don't know anything about your hardware, OS, your workflow...

    Some information would help ;)

    The key here is the word BETA!

    You haven't stated if you are using BETA 1 or BETA 2, what your PC/laptop system consists of, if this happens using the rescue CD or from within Windows or if you are using Vista, XP, HomeServer, SBS 200x .

    Also as you will be aware 2009 has several extra options that are not in previous versions, so this information as to what type of image task you are trying, where you are imaging to, if you are using the dual image place option etc, would help in maybe pinpointing a problem.

    There is a specific beta forum, where this post might be better displayed, mainly because some of the problems and options discussed may not be in the final product, and extra options might be, this helps not to confuse those who are having problems with current retail builds.

    I can PM you the beta forum address, though I think it is published on the Acronis website. You will have to register - welcome to the club.

    OK, bodgy

    I tested on a xp pro machine with 1 sata drive with 2 partitions (ntfs)
    when i backup from c: (partition 1) to D: (partition 2) it will hangs on 7% and the pc hangs also.
    just like in version 11

    the beta that i used is the latest version.
