I am using Kaspersky Internet Security, Zemana AntiMalware Premium, and HitmanPro.Alert. Is the "Active Protection" componenet of Acronis True Image made redundant by HitmanPro.Alert? Thank you again.
Yes it is, but I'm not sure if they can work together. To avoid conflicts you should choose one or the other.
you already got redundant components in your arsenal. kis alone is enough, you better ditch zap & hmpa, you won't lose much in regard to security but you'll gain much in regard to sys performance.
Actually, HMPA is probably a bit better when it comes to purely blocking exploits, but KIS will probably also do the job in real life usage.
The HMP part of HMPA is redundant with KIS. Both are AVs. The "A" of HMPA is a powerful protection against exploits. Another choice would be to keep KIS, discard HMPA, and add Malwarebytes AntiExploit (MBAE). MBAE is strictly anti-exploit and KIS is one of the very best AVs.
