ack packet attack

    Hi people  :)

    Ok ive tried but cant find a straight forward explanation anywhere.

    My firewall log shows an ack packet attack from my proxy address.

    1. What is an a.p.a ?

    2. Why would i be getting this particular 1 ?

    3. Is it really an attack or a log phrase ?

    If ive missed something please poke me !! in the right direction

         you can try this...go to "google" an just type
          ack packet.......an you should find enough reading to last a long while.

           sorry....am not feeling so well right now so really can't offer more info.
