Mount Point Manager is used by Windows to associate drives with drive letters (among other things).

The C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2 folder is part of Microsoft's catalog of installed Windows Update components. The two files you mention are always in use by Windows, so the messages you see are normal.

Similarly, you will also get a bunch of "in use" error messages for files in the C:\Windows\System32\config folder. These files contain the Windows registry data. Since they are in active use by Windows, they cannot be scanned by NOD32. Again, this is normal.

There is nothing like getting a bunch of scary looking messages for stuff that is in normal use by Windows. How is the average user supposed to be able to tell?
